Manager Development Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Preferred, but flexible for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:
You will identify and mitigate site development risks before lease agreements are finalized. Overseeing technical studies from third-party consultants, you’ll ensure comprehensive geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental assessments. Your role includes coordinating between Development, Real Estate, and Transmission teams to enhance project success, managing design constraints, and refining layouts. You’ll track project timelines and milestones, support land acquisition efforts, and engage with stakeholders, including investors and EPC partners. Additionally, you will lead medium and low-voltage project design and interconnection activities and develop AutoCAD design templates and standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in solar, storage, or infrastructure design; at least 2 years with AutoCAD, PVCase, ArcGIS, Google Earth; and 2 years with PVSyst, NREL SAM, or similar platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Power Systems preferred), holding a professional engineering (PE) license.
