The individual will work in an inter-disciplinary and collaborative team that works on hardware prototyping for client's Products. This role is fast-paced, low volume, with a high mix of hardware prototypes. The team is small, collaborative, and helpful. There are project meetings, and this role is a great opportunity for those interested in developing cutting-edge technology.
Must-Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience working on CAD – Computer Aid and Design – NX experience is preferred, but any CAD work on other packages is sufficient
• Experience with plastic and metal part design (machining, sheet metal, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.), or similar
• Experience with 3D/2D CAD, statistical tolerance analysis techniques, and functional dimensioning
• Proficient with CAD software - NX (preferred), Creo, Solidworks or similar
• Knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, and/or glass
• Hands-on mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly experience. Optical and ESD component assembly and handling experience preferred
Nice-to-Have Skills:
