Who you are:
As an Inventory Control Associate, you are an enthusiastic individual with strong analytical and organizational skills with a remarkable ability to analyze and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. The Inventory Control Associate support coverage for North America, including Canada and United States. The Inventory Control Associate supports Inventory and Systems focused (back office) on Showrooms, Warehouses, Casa Cucinelli and Stores.
What You’ll Do:
Operational:
- Store Support with Micros Inventory System issues.
- Analyze and maintain inventory over multiple platforms.
- Order Creations (ASNs)
- Alignment between Micros Inventory System and JDE Accounting System
- Inventory scan support on request.
- Assistance to Showroom and Casa Cucinelli Support every week.
- Reconciliation of Seasonal Samples movement over multiple platforms (Launchmetrics & JDE)
- Support Retail Operations with inventory related requests.
- Support Retail Operations in planning and organizing physical inventory.
Finance:
- Quarterly Journal Entries posting
- Financial Close Reconciliation
- KPI and Shrinkage calculation
- Partner with Italy Head Office on inventory evaluation
- Partner with Italy Head Office on inventory roll-forward
- Provide reports to the Italian Team on request.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 2-4 years of experience in retail inventory management or similar position
- Outstanding abilities to manage time, daily tasks and daily general ledger postings
- Foundational understanding of financial principles
- Proficient with MS Office suite and accounting software
- Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP system is a plus
- Ability to communicate and work with different teams, both in and out of the company.
- Ability to analyze problems, to compile data, in order to reach a logical conclusion based on facts
- Ability to work in a growing and entrepreneurial team environment
