Primary Role
The primary role of IT Specialist is to manage the organizations IT systems, including networks, computer systems, and corporate data. The successor of this position will also be responsible for the development, implementation and support of these systems and to provide technical support to users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Analyze, test, troubleshoot and diagnose network systems and software
· Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network
· Educating employees about network security and best practices for computer usage
· Resolving IT support requests from employees
· Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
· Perform network maintenance to ensure networks run smoothly
· Provide technical support to users to users and troubleshoot system and network issues
· Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems
· Manage data backup and system security operations, such as firewalls and user authorization
· Install, configure, update and test software and hardware components
· Maintain company’s inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Perform IT audits
· Generating sign ins and emails
· Phones and Tablets/ iPad setup
· Regularly evaluating IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands
· Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
· Mobility – must be able to move around and work in an office setting which includes standing and sitting for long periods of time, walking, and stooping.

· Hand and Finger movement – ability to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, such as keyboards and telephones. Must also be able to make quick, precise adjustments to equipment.
· Vision – needs to have close vision to use a computer and may also need to be able to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
· Hearing – anility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds

Education, and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferable.
· Professional Certifications Preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CISA, CISM,

Employment Requirements
- Ability to pass drug screening(s)
- Ability to pass background check, and obtain security clearance
