Reports to: General Manager & Director of Artistic Planning
Direct Reports: Stage Manager, Stage Hands, Parking Attendants
Status: Full Time Exempt / Salary Range: $68,500 – $75,000.
The Senior Manager of Artistic Operations is a key team member who works closely with the General Manager and collaborates cross departmentally. This role supports LACO’s performance operations by advancing logistics for venues and artistic personnel. This position regularly engages with Music Director, guest artists and their agencies, venue personnel and stage labor, musicians, and staff. A background in concert or theatrical production, a high degree of professionalism, and a knack for detail is essential to be successful in this position. This position frequently works nights and weekends.
Preference will be given to applicants who meet the following criteria:
· Minimum of three years of experience in concert production
· Team leadership and stage management experience
· Background in music, theatre, or dance
· Familiarity with AFM and IATSE
· Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Comfortable working with high profile talent and demanding personalities
· Experience drafting and negotiating contracts
· Based in or around Los Angeles, CA, USA
· Valid driver’s license

- Ensure a safe and professional environment for musicians at all services in compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement

- Report preparation and monitoring of expenses
- Technical schedules and stage plots
- Staffing
- Instrument Rental and Cartage
- Supervise Run of Show
- Oversee all artist services
- Contracts, Riders, and Itineraries
- Travel, Hospitality, and Payment
- Manage venue rentals
- Site visits and quotes
- Advance rentals
- Coordinate and manage any/all concert related parking needs of artists and staff
- Day of service requirements
- First arrival, guarantee venue readiness
- Receive equipment deliveries
- Ensure Keyboard Tunings are timely and well ahead of downbeat
- Supervise load out, guarantee venue is returned as found
- Manage all technical, audiovisual, and multimedia vendors
- Manage pre and post-production timelines
