Technical Project Manager
Duration: 12 months plus
Location – 3 days onsite per week

An experienced and high caliber project management professional who provides detailed project management services, applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through the project lifecycle.
Role Overview:
- The Project Manager has responsibility for quality, timeliness and comprehensiveness of delivery of end results with shared responsibility for planning, reporting and budgets. They may take a lead role for an assigned project team(s) through direction of responsibilities. The role will oversee and support program/project management in a governance capacity, managing a backlog of tasks to implement effective governance and SDLC process.
- Some of the key responsibilities in the role:
- Manages or supports a portfolio of assigned projects with day-to-day project management, execution, coordination with internal business partners, creating efficiencies and helping with the delivery of high-quality projects.
- Collaborates with multiple teams to drive results Develops and implements methods to ensure project requirements are clearly understood, document and delivered to.
- Coordinates with the project team, internal and external partners, to detail out the plan including all elements required for successful delivery.
- Create and maintain project plans and/or backlogs
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made that impact projects.
What knowledge, skills and experience we’ll need from you
- 5-7 years experience managing large scale projects or programs with a range of stakeholders, budgets and functionality, simultaneously with limited supervision and guidance.
- Familiar with Agile, Project Management, Development and Delivery Lifecycles
- Comfortable working in non-traditional project structure, overseeing a backlog of outcomes and deliverables outside the typical project management lifecycle
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal and written. Must have proficiency in spoken and written English. Experience creating executive level material and status
- Strong familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Able to coordinate multiple teams with interconnected backlogs
- Technical writing experience including the creation of training and job aids
- Familiarity with running
- Familiar with IT development and architecture processes
What knowledge, skills and experience would also be beneficial
- Familiar with managing projects with an IT governance focus; implementing IT governance initiatives
- Familiar with data management and governance
- Familiar with Development and Testing / QA processes
- Familiar with Process Improvement, Process Automation and Lean Management processes.
