Role and Responsibilities
Sunbelt Medical Management is a management service organization offering back-office support, contracting & credentialing, and financial analysis for our clients. Sunbelt is a multi-specialty medical management and billing group with clients across all 50 states focused on bringing greater efficiency to healthcare revenue cycle management. Our goal is simple: To change the face of healthcare by creating efficiencies between providers, and their patients and the payers directly.
The Revenue Cycle A/R Manager is responsible for outstanding accounts receivable activities for several client accounts managed by the organization. They are responsible for analyzing performance metrics and act as a liaison for 3rd party billing, and work with the leadership team.
Qualified candidates have 3 years of RCM leadership experience with extensive knowledge of the medical billing and collections process including patient registration, insurance verification, charge/payment posting, reconciliation, billing, A/R, and denials management. They must be able to work independently, but also function as a team member, providing high quality services to our clients. Employees of Sunbelt must value close collaboration with internal staff, clients, payors, and other stakeholders.
The Revenue Cycle A/R Manager's responsibilities include:
- Participate in the entire revenue cycle system life cycle
- Achieve optimal performance of revenue cycle
- Supporting revenue cycle processes and staff functions
- Ensure continuous improvement in the revenue cycle
- Develop sound revenue cycle analysis and reporting
- Resolving revenue and cycle opportunities for improvement
- Identify issues related to revenue cycle performance
- Present data at weekly team meetings and participate in regular meetings with clients
- Develop the revenue cycle operational and budgetary decisions
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in the revenue cycle process
- Maintaining confidentiality of records aligning with HIPAA requirements
- Exceptional Customer service
- Engage with multiple payors and their interfaces
- Additional responsibilities as appropriate

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- 3 years of RCM leadership experience (required)
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and applications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of integrated healthcare delivery models (preferred)
Compensation details: 65000-75000 Yearly Salary
