Oak Wood Ventures is presently seeking a Vice President of RV Park Operations to work alongside the management and acquisitions team.
What will you have to do?
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations of all current RV parks, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and the overall customer experience.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures to maintain safety, quality, and operational consistency across all properties.
Staff Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop park management teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational excellence.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
- Work with park managers to create and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive cost efficiencies.
- Analyze financial reports, operational data, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Acquisition Support:
- Collaborate with the acquisitions team to identify, evaluate, and integrate new RV parks into the Oak Wood Ventures portfolio.
- Conduct operational due diligence on potential acquisitions and provide insights on operational viability and growth potential.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of park cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Strategic Growth:
- Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of Oak Wood Ventures by identifying trends and opportunities in the RV park industry.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the overall brand, increase occupancy rates, and drive revenue growth across all properties.
What do you have to have?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the RV park, hospitality, or related industry.
- Proven experience in leading multi-site operations, with a strong track record of improving operational performance and profitability.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, with the ability to assess operational impact and integration potential.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for RV parks.
- Willingness to travel as required for site visits and acquisitions.
