Remote Part-time position
Hospital Experience only!!
Seeking for a medical coder to help identify and review diagnosis, procedure and drug codes to support research studies using EHR or administrative data for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
• Assist the Applied Research team with insights and consultative guidance in internal and client sponsored studies.
•Provide the consultation to clients as needed.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
5 Years Applicable Experience
Experience in research a plus
Skills & Experience:
• Experience in a billing or revenue cycle role for a health system or insurance payor
• Ability to provide consultative guidance and insights on coding processes, impacts, and outcomes.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Experience to include:
• CRC qualifications (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder)
• Familiarity with Epic or Cerner EHR physician ordering workflows
