Job Description:
A leader in architectural, engineering and planning, renowned for creating exceptional and sustainable solutions with critical thinking, integrated practice, and design excellence at the forefront of the business. The firm is looking for a Senior Project Architect to join their team in the Mission Critical Sector. This role offers the opportunity to grow with the company, and partner with team members across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build system concepts and document process from schematics to construction administration phase.
- Perform as discipline team leader on large hyperscale data center projects, when assigned.
- Oversee architectural project team members.
- Prepare and monitor project status reports.
- Prepare and document relevant research and require code.
- Support project development by conducting material and product research, as required.
- Attend all required project meetings.
- Collaborate with other discipline leaders.
- Document interpretation and submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration phases.
- Monitor and mentor staff to produce architectural and engineering services aligned with company expectations and project concept.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Professional Licensure.
- LEED Accredited preferred but not essential.
- 6+ years' experience in A/E industry preferred.
- Mission Critical/Data Center experience.
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional services from schematic design through project close-out, including design and technical expertise.
- A comprehensive understanding of the coordination aspects and related requirements of all design disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate, mentor and effectively delegate work assignments.
- Computer literate with typical Microsoft Productivity Suite and CADD.
