Our client, an SI, is seeking a lead Oracle Fusion SCM implementation Consultant with an emphasis on Order Management, for an immediate 6 month + engagement. Travel will be involved, likely once every 3 weeks or so to the end client, who is in PST time zone.
As a Lead Oracle Fusion SCM Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions for our clients. This is a customer-facing role that requires extensive experience in Oracle Fusion SCM modules including Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, and GOP. You will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, configuring the system, and ensuring successful deployment of Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion SCM implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze client requirements to design and configure Oracle Fusion SCM solutions tailored to their business needs.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to a team of consultants involved in the implementation process.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment of the solution with business objectives.
- Proactively identify and resolve implementation issues, escalating when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion SCM features, updates, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SCM modules, with a focus on Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, and GOP.
- Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering complex Oracle Fusion SCM implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to supply chain and logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team management.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM functionalities, configurations, and integration with other modules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion SCM Certification(s).
- Experience in leading a team of SCM consultants on multiple implementation projects.
- Knowledge of related Oracle Cloud modules like Procurement, Manufacturing, and Planning.
- Familiarity with industry-specific SCM requirements (e.g., retail, manufacturing, distribution).
- Experience with third-party integration tools and technologies.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance and contribute to the development of SCM roadmaps for clients.
