About the position:
The Logistics Coordinator position is vital to the flow of Variantyx company operations. The position requires the employee to be focused and involved in assembling and shipping of genetic testing kits to customers. The Logistics Coordinator will also learn how to process the incoming mail and always maintain confidentiality of patient information. He/she will also be trained in other duties such as answering the phones, sending out statements, fulfilling kit orders, and processing Customer Support tickets. A successful Logistics Coordinator will be dependable, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Position duties and responsibilities:
- Ability to read and follow instructions in English on how to assemble various types of genetic testing kits.
- Fulfill kit orders for patients and accounts.
- Answer phone calls and route them appropriately.
- Sort and process the incoming mail.
- Send out statements and forms from the Claims / Prior Auth Department.
- Process Customer Support tickets.
- Keep workspace organized and effective for the task at hand.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be respectful and cordial with others.
- Assist in other related Logistics duties (check inventory, badge issuance, process returned kits, etc), as needed.
- Be able to work onsite from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Education and skills:
- College degree or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Ability to use Google Workspace and Salesforce a plus (can be trained on the job as well).
