Job Title: End User Computing (EUC) Consultant
Location: Boston, MA
Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced End User Computer (EUC) Consultant to join our team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-user computing technologies and a passion for improving user experiences through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze current end-user computing environments and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement EUC solutions that enhance productivity and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and manage desktop virtualization technologies (e.g., VDI, DaaS).
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on EUC tools and applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for EUC processes and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to end-user computing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in end-user computing or related IT roles.
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and mobile devices.
- Experience with EUC technologies (Windows, VDI, VMware, Microsoft 365).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in relevant technologies (Preferred: Microsoft Certifications, VMware Certified Professional).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python).
- ITIL Certification
