Job Description:
ATS team is seeking a Mobile Emission Manager to support the development of a world-class environmental compliance process. This role will focus on high-level strategy, design, and implementation, particularly around mobile emissions compliance within the United States, with an emphasis on California. This leader will be responsible for ensuring environmental strategy, operational tactics, and quality assurance by providing technical support for existing and forward-looking regulations. This is a critical role in which the ideal candidate is accustomed to working in a highly ambiguous environment with rapidly changing priorities due to external changes. The Mobile Emission Manager will play a crucial role in building scalable, nationwide compliance programs across Surface Transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Build & Implement Compliance Systems: Develop and implement systems and processes that align the ATS emission compliance program with regulatory requirements.
- SOP Documentation: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new processes, resolutions, and investigations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure SLA compliance, drive key business decisions, and enhance compliance programs.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple workflows simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining excellent project management practices.
- Regulatory Reporting & Controls Oversight: Manage day-to-day compliance program functions, including the executive level reports and oversight of business-owned controls.
- Converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information
- Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
- Communicating complex analysis and insights to our stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Experience in using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sustainability experience in large-scale infrastructure development.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
