Epic Resolute Hospital Bill / Professional Billing Technical Analyst
Must reside in or relocate to the state of Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Build, support, testing, and implementation of billing data in Epic used for financial reporting (revenue/charge capture and statistical productivity), including Epic General Ledger Build, Cost Center Assignment, etc.
- Prepare and execute functional system and program specifications using structured methodology.
- Serve as both a subject matter expert & liaison to Information Systems, and the departments that use data in Epic used for financial reporting.
- Facilitate advanced-level discussion(s) between revenue cycle, financial, clinical healthcare operations (both ambulatory and acute), and Information Systems.
- Prepare and execute functional system and program specifications using structured methodology, as it relates to Epic financial data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned project teams and department initiatives, develop test scripts, conduct testing, support application upgrades and project go lives, as it relates to Epic financial data.
- Utilize advanced application & analytic skills to design, build and test solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
- Responsible for other non-Epic Financial platforms & systems as assigned (in a liaison capacity).
REQUIRED
- Epic HB or PB Certification Required
- 3-5 years of Epic Resolute HB or PB build, support, & implementation experience.
- Solid understanding of Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, especially as it relates to transaction-based data (charges, payments, & adjustments).
- Solid understanding of Epic batch scheduler, Epic data extract and reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer.
- Solid understanding of basic file formats for the purpose of integrating data from Epic to other platforms.
- Solid understanding of Epic Facility Build Structure, Cost Center Assignment, and General Ledger build.
Solid understanding of healthcare financial & revenue cycle concepts, including debit/credit logic, general ledger, etc
