Note - This position is onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in NYC.
Must Have:
- 5+ years building or testing financial software
- 1+ years as a QA architect
- Expert in Java and/or Python
- Hands-on experience building test frameworks for front and back end testing
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and consuming data from a message bus
Client is looking for a collaborative and hands-on QA Automation Architect to join our Platform Engineering team. The Platform Engineering team’s role is to work together to create and maintain an architecture to support company’s real-time data platform and functionality. The Platform Engineering team enables Developers and QA Engineers the tools to build a consistent, resilient, and scalable platform.
QA Automation Architect will be responsible for building and enhancing a framework used by Automation Engineers to test the platform. The framework will support component, end-to-end, and performance testing. The QA Automation Architect will report to the Chief Technology Officer and play a key part in building company’s transformative syndicated loan market platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop scalable and reusable QA frameworks for automated and manual testing
- Ensure the framework supports comprehensive testing of functional, performance, security and integration aspects of the platform including data
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Engineers responsible for test automation
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Integrate the QA framework with CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project goals and timelines
- Define and enforce QA best practices, processes, and standards across the development lifecycle
