We are partnered with a growing technology to add a Senior Systems Administrator to it's New York team. The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for the overall health of the Company’s computer systems, whilst leading the maintenance, monitoring and improvement of the firm's overall corporate IT infrastructure.
What skills do you need?
- 3+ years’ experience in Windows server management including VSphere, ESXi, and related technologies
- 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft O365 administration
Responsibilities:
- Perform O365 and server administration tasks in a hybrid environment.
- Manage and maintain the server infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the help desk team to assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and providing technical support when needed.
- Oversee software distribution, patch management, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance locally and between remote sites.
- Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phone system, and security updates.
- Analyze system architecture and usage to ensure capacity and performance to meet business needs.
This is based in Webster, NY. We have a budget up to $90,000 for this role.
