Role Overview: The Quality Environment Health Safety Manager/ Lean Manufacturing and Safety Manager will lead continuous improvement efforts, maintain safety standards, and ensure quality across the manufacturing facility and distribution center. This person will oversee Quality, EHS, and Continuous Improvement. Key responsibilities include implementing Lean practices, managing safety protocols, and overseeing quality assurance systems. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to boost operational efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement Lean principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen), identify improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Safety Management: Develop and maintain safety programs, conduct audits and risk assessments, and promote a safety-focused culture.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality management systems, manage quality-related issues, ensure ISO9000 compliance, and lead audits.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor teams in Lean, Safety, and Quality, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulations, prepare performance reports, and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with a focus on Lean, Safety, and Quality.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and Lean methodologies.
- Proven track record in leading improvement projects and strong communication skills.
