Technical Product Manager
Team: Data Platform and Services
Contract Duration: 6 Months - extension/conversion is possible
Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid 3 days a week
Pay Rate: $70 - $75/hr

Key projects:
- Support the tools and features
- Very large project including Tableau and moving it to cloud based server (participation varies based on skillset)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage product planning and execution through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including architects, engineers, and business or subject matter experts.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to align with business priority and technology strategy by articulating the business challenges as technical user stories.
- Build and evangelize product roadmaps broadly to various levels of leadership.
- Drive technical solution for large features/technically complex features independently.
- Create functional and technical specifications to ensure engineering team has needed information on requirements and definition of done.
- Define product performance and effectiveness metrics that measure and benchmark product success and adoption.
- Help resolve technical blocking issues and coordinates solutions across multiple technical teams.
- Identify technical tradeoffs, escalates risks, and manages mitigation in collaboration with neighbor teams.
- Communicate effectively with technology and business teams independently.
- Act as a coach/mentor to team on various technical product manager competencies
Experience:
- Expertise in working with enterprise analytics tools, in particular Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx
- Must be familiar with MicroStrategy
- Agile Methodologies
What sets a candidate apart?
- Experience with big data architectures, usage patterns and performance challenges on any of the public clouds – AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience with/ knowledge of SQL, Spark, Python.
- Experience in SaaS application configuration management and rollout.
