SUMMARY:
- The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
- Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates
Typical Day in the Role:
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to work with the AI delivery team, working across all the pillars within the organization to scale data center delivery
- Key Projects: This role will contribute to process optimization, stack ranking and working across the engineering teams. Will focus on backlog management in ADO. Taking the requirements and grooming them down to writing business requirement documents and scenarios. Business analyst working with the business stakeholders and creating business road maps
- Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: The role will consist of the following, 50% meeting/ collaboration 50% system analysis -creating business requirement documentation -document management within ADO backlog -working with stakeholders in getting alignment to proposed solution – Will need to have good enough understanding of the requirements and being able to translate it
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- PMI or PMP certification preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience required

Candidate Requirements:
- Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years of overall industry experience
- Degrees or Certifications Required: computer science degree is required to be eligible for this role
- Disqualifiers: Candidates with missing required skills will not be eligible for the role
- Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate will be effectively able to lead a worker shop. Have great communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills. They must be experienced and comfortable working in a fast past environment
