The organisation are able to call upon decades of experience in the physical, financial energy and commodities markets. They provide a wide range of services to a substantial and diversified customer base.
They are seeking a skilled Python Developer with a passion for application development to join their global technology team.
As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Python applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python programming and a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient applications.
The ideal candidate should have the majority of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 3 years' of professional development experience.
- Strong experience in Python development.
- Written applications with large data processing, pandas, unit test cases & related frameworks.
- Proficient with C# & Java.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles & design patterns.
- Experience with database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
- Well-versed with DevOps tools & AWS basics.
- Experience in API-based solutions, like FAST API.
- Building applications using messaging middleware (Kafka or similar).
- Knowledge of Pricing, Risk experience & Market Data.
- Prior experience in building applications in the financial sector.
Permanent / Full-Time Employment.
Hybrid working environment (2 / 3 days' in the office).
