Job Description
- To be able to work safety and follow all safety guidelines.
- Identify safety problems and develop solutions.
- Oversee and organize all operation activities.
- Lead team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production planning, etc.
- Set day to day operational objectives for team.
- Responsible for ensuring policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
- Responsible for timely submission of employee time recording records and PTO requests
- Responsible for training and development of direct reports.
- Assist with implementation of lean methodology and health, safety and environmental practices.
- Coordinates maintenance issues with the maintenance department.
- Ensure proper packaging of product and develop better cost-effective methods to packaging.
- Ensure quality of the product produced and proper quality documentation.
- Ensure correct labeling of the product.
- Complete production reports accurately; teach operators as necessary.
- Capable of lifting a 30-pound box using safe lifting technique and to stand and work a 12-hour shift.
- Lead, discipline, and reward people in a respectful manner without bias.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, practical troubleshooting, process theory in plastics molding and robotic systems.
- Identify root cause of quality defects and develop corrective actions; execute the installation of the corrective action.
- Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area.
- Work with other people in a respectful manner.
- Proactively engage and support company initiative designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection, and continual improvement.
Qualifications
Work experience: 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Secondary technical training desired.
- Ability to assertively and efficiently multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and e-mail systems
