Predominantly focused on mid-market M & A and PE work this top-of-the-market firm offers highly sophisticated work, significant responsibility and exposure from day one, and the opportunity to really accelerate your development faster than would be possible within an elite BigLaw firm.
Working directly alongside the newly-appointed Head of Litigation, you will be responsible for helping to develop the practice including involvement in BD, taking and managing depositions, managing the client relationships, and running point on complex M & A-related litigation work.
You will be from a Top 20 law school and be working within the litigation department of a top 50 firm. You are likely to have had exposure to a range of litigation, such as shareholder disputes, Labor & Employment, contractual disputes around covenant enforcement, and general commercial litigation matters.
You are likely to be a 3rd or 4th year, have managed depositions, and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Salary and bonuses are above scale, and the likelihood of progression is rapid as the practice develops. This is not a sweat shop - billables are expected around 2000 hours.
