SAP S/4 ABAP Developer - (S/4 2021, EWM, TM, Fiori) - Hybrid in DFW
Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in HVACR markets, is seeking a SAP S/4 ABAP Developer to fulfill a contract opportunity with a client located in the DFW area.
The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP ABAP development, working across multiple modules and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, and Logistics.
This role requires a strong background in technical analysis, solution design, code reviews, and testing, with an emphasis on handling both small enhancements and large-scale SAP projects.

Apply Today If Your Background Includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 8-10 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations
- Proven working experience in S/4 HANA 2021 is a must
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Web Services, Proxies, and APIs
- Expertise in ABAP development, including Reports, RFCs, Forms, OOPS ABAP, BAPI, Enhancements, BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, Data conversions (BDC, LSMW, IDOCs, ALE, Workflows)
- Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOPs) methodology and ABAP new syntaxes.
- Strong performance tuning, testing, and debugging skills
- Ability to create accurate development estimates, assist in technical design specifications, and review designs with the functional team
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, time-sensitive SAP projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both technical and business contexts
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently manage critical and complex technical issues
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with business, functional, and technical teams
