About the role: Lois Law Firm is seeking aLegal Talent Acquisition Coordinator in our Paramus, New Jersey office, who is passionate about recruiting and connecting excellent legal talent with our outstanding firm. The Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator serves as the face of the firm, welcoming and guiding candidates through their recruiting journey with us. The coordinator will work closely with our Managing Director of People and firm leaders to strategically shape our attorney and paralegal recruitment process. Your impact will extend beyond hiring - you will be integral to the growth of the firm.
- First Impressions Matter: As the initial point of contact for potential attorney and paralegal hires, serve as the brand ambassador and relationship builder; your professional and welcoming approach will set the tone for their experience and advance their engagement with Lois, during the recruiting process and beyond.

Job Description
- Review with urgency all new applicants to various applications daily to identify candidates; accurately designates status (interview/hold/pass, etc.) in our applicant tracking system.
- Manages multiple components of the Firm’s social media and legal hiring platforms including sourcing candidates, posting job openings, refreshing postings, producing statistical reports, etc.
- Supports the circulation and coordination of internal communications regarding candidates.
- Conducts scheduling of phone screenings, interviews, writing assignments, Omnia assessment, (a workplace performance assessment) and follow-up communications.
- Handles attorney interview meeting appointments and updates and confirms as needed.
- Coordinates conference room reservations and prepares conference rooms for in-person interviews (resumes, assessment sheets, screening notes, etc.)
- Greets candidates when they arrive for interviews, notifies interviewers.
- Works with IT team to secure video links for interviews as needed and ensures interviews involving videoconferencing are connected without issue.
- Maintains recruiting records in Applicant Tracking System (GetHired), including charts and reports including applicant tracking, evaluation reports, candidate information, market salary data and intelligence re: competitors, etc.
- Ensures operations/onboarding team are notified and pre-hire information is collected and distributed as directed.
- Coordinates firm and market research projects with research services, compiles relevant data in a user-friendly format.
- Manages sharing of resume with recruiting committee and uploading to appropriate location in Practice Master (PM) our document management platform.
- Sets up and administers writing and Omnia assessments and uploads to appropriate location in PM.
- Maintains Recruiting PM workspace including saving docs/emails using approved naming conventions and maintaining general organization of e-files.
- Works in collaboration with operations team members to ensure onboarding and proper training is executed.
- High-touch follow-up with new hires to ensure they are integrating well; any needs are addressed.
- Ensure applicant/new hire data is properly entered into the Heartland (Payroll/HRIS/Recruiting platform) recruiting module and candidate tracking chart.
- Work with Marketing Director to ensure the firm’s external career webpage is accurate/up-to-date.
- Update forms, as needed.
- Assists with special projects as needed.
Education: The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Experience: A least 2 years of previous experience in legal recruiting required.
Additional Information
Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The pay range for this position is $55-65,000. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
