Network Administrator | Perm | Remote | Night Shift
Job Summary:
We're seeking Network Administrators to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain our client's network. Successful candidates will have strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor network health and performance, utilizing advanced monitoring tools to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of complex network problems, leveraging a systematic approach and deep technical knowledge to isolate root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and support staff, to resolve network-related issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks, while demonstrating flexibility to adapt to evolving network requirements and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and supporting Windows services within a virtualized environment, encompassing Microsoft applications such as Exchange, SharePoint, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, file permissions, and security.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- A meticulous approach to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tasks and documentation.
- The capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- A proven track record of handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex network issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Practical experience with TCP/IP networking protocols and their application in network design and troubleshooting.
