A global systems integration company is looking to expand its automation and control system team by hiring a Senior Automation Engineer. We specialize in delivering automation solutions for critical process and safety applications across various industries such as Oil & Gas, LNG, Renewable Energy, Chemicals, and more.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with experience in control systems. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, communicate effectively with customers, and have a strong background in critical process and safety control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer requirements and industry standards to develop control system designs.
- Support sales and business development by reviewing customer specifications and assisting with project estimates.
- Design and develop PLC and DCS control systems and HMI screens.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and ensure systems meet customer requirements.
- Provide customer training and perform on-site startup and commissioning of control systems.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of control system experience.
- Knowledge of safety system standards (ISA, TUV, IEC, ATEX, NFPA) and SIL certification.
- Experience with control system platforms (Rockwell, Emerson Delta V, Invensys Triconex).
- Familiarity with HMI systems (Factory Talk, Wonderware, Ignition).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
