Under project manager supervision, applies project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in supporting NextGen Project activities and tasks for the State Accounting Office (SAO). The project coordinator is responsible for tracking project activities and tasks for a specific business suite or multiple workstreams. This includes but is not limited to, scheduling and attending meetings, capturing, and disseminating meeting minutes, receiving project documents and compiling a summary, aiding in the development of communication material such as emails, newsletters or PowerPoint presentation, updating project schedules and RAID lo

Primary Duties & Responsibilit
ies:
1. Coordinates, schedules, and attends project related meet
ings.2. Transcribes and disseminates project meeting min
utes.3. Documents, tracks and receives project documentation and delivera
bles.4. Send follow-ups as necessary to ensure project activities are completed in a timely ma
nner.5. Shares information and updates with project team members as relevant to project activi
ties.6. Documents and tracks project risks, issues, action items and decisions as part of the project management activi
ties.7. Assist PM in developing necessary documents, presentations or re
ports8. Follow-up and track project statuses and update the project tracking system with pertinent inform
ation9. Create project related reports from the project work breakdown stru
cture10. Work with PMs on documenting project scope and high-level require
ments11. Disseminate information related to project sched
ules.12. Coordinate NextGen quality review and steering committee meetings. Capture notes and action items and disseminate as approp
riate13. Ensure all project related artifacts are stored in the proper location within the NextGen Project SharePoint
site.14. Assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the NextGen Pro

Minimum Qualifi
cations:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of IT related experience. OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT related experience. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-ye
ar basis.
