Description:
Tool Runner
Our full time Tool Runner is responsible for going to pick-up/purchase required parts for shop projects, researching/ordering parts requested by the shop, and for helping to clean and organize the shop and tools/inventory/parts.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive to pick-up and purchase parts and deliver back to the shop in a timely and organized manner
- Researching/order parts requested by the shop
- Clean and organize the shop and tools/inventory/parts
- Assist in whatever capacity is needed to help get the job done
- Maintain our premises so they are attractive, functional, and safe
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management
- Willing and able to pivot to doing different tasks throughout the day
- Effectively accomplish job tasks without needing direct supervision on all matters
- Maintain, clean, organize equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
- Put all tools/equipment back where they belong and organize on a daily basis.
Skills & Experience:
- Shop experience (1+ years)
- Parts experience (1+ years)
- Driving experience (2+ years)
- Valid Drivers license
- Positive attitude and interest in being part of an awesome team
- Safely drive and operate company vehicles and equipment
- Experience in fueling equipment and conducting preventative maintenance
- Good problem-solving skills
- A desire to learn and grow
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of computers and websites and tools like Gmail, Google, Google Sheets/Docs
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and to change tasks quickly
- Experience in the refrigeration equipment field isn't required but would be a benefit
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) is preferred, but not required
