We are seeking a bilingual (Chinese/English) Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service to our commercial insurance clients while leveraging their language skills to serve our Chinese-speaking customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to commercial insurance clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Process and manage policy changes, endorsements, and renewals for commercial insurance policies
- Generate insurance premium quotes for clients and assist in processing forms
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and billing issues
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company's database
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend appropriate insurance products to clients
- Assist in coordinating service requirements with underwriters and other departments
- Stay updated on insurance products, industry trends, and company policies
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (Cantonese a +)
- P&C Insurance License (prefer)
- 1-2 years of experience in commercial insurance or customer service role
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and insurance-specific software
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
