Event Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a event assistant with 1 or more years of experience for a contract role for our non profit client. This is hybrid in New Yor, NY 3 days onsite 2 work from home. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-event: join planning call with corporate partner sponsors and create itemized list of needed items/supplies for events within budget parameters.
- Keep detailed log of donations we’ve received from partners for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Coordinate and schedule donation pick-ups from with program sites.
- Attend in-person volunteer events at VOA-GNY program site to help ensure the event runs smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexible and motivated team player.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be comfortable making phone calls/sending emails.
Employment Type: Contract through the end of the year
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
