Senior Litigation Attorney

The Senior Litigation Attorney will lead complex litigation matters, particularly within the areas of construction and surety law. This role involves managing all phases of the litigation process, from initial consultation through trial and appeals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in handling high-stakes litigation, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients in court.

Focus:
- Lead and manage complex litigation cases in construction and surety law.
- Develop and execute legal strategies, prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and appeals.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
- Communicate and negotiate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys, providing support in their professional development.
Skill Set:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active bar membership.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on construction and surety law.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and litigating complex cases.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
