Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
- 6+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on project management for complex, large-scale projects.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in the completion of engineering projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
- Experience with both capital projects and R&D projects.
- Hands-on experience with design, development, and implementation of technical solutions.
- Vendor management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously, potentially across different locations or countries.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in engineering design principles and tools, depending on the specific field (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong command of project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Familiarity with engineering codes and standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of financial management related to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for engineering projects.
- Expertise in risk management methodologies to assess and mitigate project risks.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics as they apply to engineering projects.
Leadership and Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide engineers and technical staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership.
- Ability to drive project teams toward meeting deadlines and achieving milestones.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking to address project challenges, resource constraints, or technical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, time, and cost effectively.
- Negotiation and influencing skills to work with contractors, vendors, and team members.
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments or when facing unforeseen challenges.
Industry-Specific Knowledge:
- Experience in a specific industry (Industrial)
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (ISO standards, ASME, OSHA, etc.).
Compensation:
$80/hr to $85/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
