JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is currently seeking a Senior Bridge Design Engineer. Job responsibilities include spearheading the design process of new bridge projects, ensuring all designs meet VDOT standards and regulations. They will conduct thorough QA/QC reviews of engineering work and maintain active engagement with clients through meetings and negotiations. The role demands a proactive approach to preparing responses to RFPs (Request for Proposal), representing the company at public meetings, and driving project objectives to fruition.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• 15 years of bridge design experience
• Experience in the VDOT space
• Proven track record as a lead design engineer with design-build experience
• Ability to effectively engage and negotiate with clients
