About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing and designing customer-facing applications. Your work will involve the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from analyzing user requirements to designing, testing, and maintaining applications that impact our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java and Oracle.
- Handle critical and non-critical incidents, running automated test scripts to ensure quality.
- Design and develop user interfaces for both internet and intranet applications.
- Collaborate with the team to process data through Java to the front end, ensuring seamless customer interactions.
- Execute SQL queries and perform impact analysis for testing new features.
- Integrate applications by designing database architecture, server scripting, and establishing connectivity with network systems.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues, contributing to team meetings for continuous improvement.
- Support users by creating documentation and providing assistance tools.
- Stay updated with the latest internet/intranet technologies and software products.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiar with test cases and has experience in automated or manual QA testing.
- Prior experience with customer-facing applications and SQL queries is highly desirable.
