We are seeking a skilled Senior Industrial Electrician who is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical equipment. The Senior Industrial Electrician will use diagnostic tools to find the root cause of an issue and use power hand tools to fix the issue. Industrial Electricians have an expert knowledge of electricity, as well as an aptitude for working with their hands. The ideal Senior Industrial Electrician candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components within our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety in a high-temperature environment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, including high-voltage systems, control panels, and instrumentation specific to high-temperature furnace operations.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues and perform corrective actions to restore functionality. Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards, particularly those related to high-temperature operations. Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Design Upgrades: Assist in the design and implementation of electrical system upgrades and modifications to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability of high-temperature furnace systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and modifications. Update technical documentation and schematics as required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and other personnel to coordinate electrical work and support overall facility operations. Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced team members as needed.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems and components to anticipate and mitigate potential issues before they impact operations.
Qualifications:
- Electrician Diploma or equivalent certification
- 5 years relevant experience -preferred
- OSHA 10 Hour Training – training provided
- Valid US Driver’s License

- Requires stamina to physical exertion over long periods of time
- Must be able to move or handle equipment and materials generally weighing up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug screen and subject to random Drug Testing upon hire– Onex
