Position: Data Technician
As a Data Technician, you would be responsible for some of the most exciting data processes here at Healthcare Reporting. Your role is pivotal in managing critical data processes. To be a successful data technician you need to be proficient with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, multi-tasking, and have a high level of personal organization. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to the meticulous management of our most valuable accounts, and hungry for growth and opportunities, always eager to jump in and embrace new challenges.
You will succeed if you can stay organized, keep large amounts of data safety accounted, and also being able to tend to the repetitive day to day data loading needs of your clients and internal team.
Responsibilities:
• The applicant should have the ability to learn our reporting software while working with Medical and Pharmaceutical data from TPA’s, PBMs, Benefits Brokers, and more
• Be able to solve issues and be familiar with medical enrollment and claims data as it pertains to loading it into our platform
• Have competence with data integrity/remain HIPAA compliant at all times
• Understand the data integration process and how we use the data we have
• Utilize our proprietary data processing tools, as well as our software to retrieve and transform data, loading it to the appropriate space in our platform safely and securely
• Be available to the needs of Data Analysts and Data Project Leads as it pertains to the tasks they assign
Qualifications & Skills:
• Excellent personal computer skills such as typing, use of Microsoft Office, and can quickly learn new software programs
• The ability to successfully work with the ebbs and flows of monthly data in a work from home environment
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Be organized, task oriented, fast paced, and trustworthy
• 4 year Degree
• Familiarity with medical billing terminology is a plus
• Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This is an onsite position. The headquarters office is located in Greenville, South Carolina. This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
