Location: Eglin AFB
Salary : $160k-$180k
Clearance : Top Secret (SAP would be ideal)
LCAT : Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related Field (Master’s degree would be preferred) + 10 years of experience
Must Haves:
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a minimum of 5 years creating model based systems
- Experiencing communicating directly to the government customer to gather intel and requirements
- Experience creating models to enhance the customers system based on solutions created from the requirements gathered
- Ability to assess a current system and create solutions based on prior implementations and enhancements needed to meet the customers goals
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (SAP may be required)
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a strong Senior Model-Based System Engineer to join a government contractor at Eglin AFB, FL. In this role you will be responsible for meeting with the government customer to collect data on the current systems environment, identify where enhancements need to be made and then create model-based solutions to meet the customers needs. In the role 50% of your time will be spent with the customer, gathering data, performing inquiries, and discussing requirements and protentional solutions, while the other 50% will be spent creating those model based solutions. This position will require you to be local to Eglin AFB to meet directly with the customer. You will also work directly with a few other members of the team when generating these solutions.
