Job Description
A multi-functional role supporting quality and purchasing. Responsible for ensuring the supply chain develops their processes consistent with engineering intent. Supporting operational buyers as a working leader.
Essential Functions:
- Lead operational buyer team to achieve best in class results
- Collaborate with suppliers, engineering and manufacturing to develop supplier continuous improvement and capabilities
- Monitor and improve supplier quality targets and KPIs
- Reporting of quality problem suppliers
- 8D reports for quality checks resulting in any deviation from the specification
- Determination and implementation of quality checks
- Supporting quality inspection technicians
- Approval for production processes or similarity classes
- Evaluation when product can be used as an exception despite a deviation from the specification
- Contribute and be responsible to the Quality and Environmental awareness throughout the organization
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
Required Competencies:
- 5 years manufacturing experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Strong problem solving experience using systematic approaches: Six Sigma, root cause analysis, 8D

The expected compensation range for this position is between $75,000 - $120,000 based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
