Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: 1 Lockheed Boulevard Fort Worth, TX 76108
Duration: 12 Months Contract.

Work Schedule: 4/10 1st shift.
Job Description:
- Experienced Engineering Checker to evaluate and investigate pertinent design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models and drawings including all related design data.
- Identify design compatibility errors and verify all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users.
- Ensure the engineering design, models/drawings and related data meet all contractual, company, and Program requirements.
- Utilize working knowledge and application experience of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing based on ASME Y14.5 along with ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices.
- Utilize working knowledge and application experience on a computer aided design system with 3D experience.
- Successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
- Very detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where critical and tight schedules are common and must be met with quality results.
Basic Qualification:
- CATIA experience
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Drawings, and Y14.5 GD&T, prior drawing and model checking, design, and engineering change process experience.
- Successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment where critical and tight schedules are common and must be met with quality results.
