Overview:
One of our largest manufacturing clients is looking for a Power BI developer join their steel decking and steel joist group. This individual will join the IT team who just completed a data migration from SAP reporting to an azure data lake reporting structure. They are now in the stage of building out dashboards and transitioning reports from their old SAP system into Power BI and migrating into their data lake. They will join as the Power BI developing expert and be on a team which includes an SAP architect, azure architect, DBA, and a current teammate who is learning Power BI. A lot of the reports are complicated financial reports that they will be translating into visual dashboards.
Day to Day:
- Report to Sr. Software Manager, working alongside a data architect, azure, and SAP teammate
- Serve as the Power BI development SME for the division
- Routinely cross-collaborating with other BI developer teams within the company's other groups.
- Writing Power BI reports and developing visualization dashboards
- Collaborating with division GMs, controllers, and other executives
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer
- Experience communicating and collaborating with stakeholders
- Experience speaking to and explaining PowerBI reports that they developed
