We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to join our team in beautiful Missoula, Montana. If you are a seasoned HR professional with a passion for leadership and a strong background in union environments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services and strategies across the organization.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with organizational goals and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Oversee employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and talent development programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison with union representatives, managing labor relations and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaborate with leadership to support organizational growth, culture, and employee engagement.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage HR resources, including budgeting, staffing, and technology, to optimize department efficiency.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong union experience is required.
Nice-To-Haves:
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is a plus.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
