Job Purpose: Perform repairs and maintenance on various machining centers, including Haas, Maka, Mori Seiki, Brothers, and Hydromat, as well as other related production equipment. Carry out general building repair and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: High School diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics is required.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with machine programming.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong mechanical aptitude and welding skills. Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on machining centers and production equipment. Reassemble machinery after completing repairs or maintenance.
- Inspect and test damaged machine parts, marking defective areas or reporting repair needs to supervisors. Lubricate machines and equipment according to prescribed procedures.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Read and interpret work orders and specifications to identify machines and equipment requiring maintenance or repair.
- Set up, operate, and adjust machines, including regulating controls to ensure proper operations. Clean machines and parts using solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other tools.
- Work with team members to repair or relocate machines, parts, or equipment.
- Manage inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and supplies to maintain stock levels. Document production, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Transport machine parts, tools, and equipment between work areas and storage using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Dispose of worn machine parts and other waste to keep machinery and work areas clean and organized.

Physical Demands:
- Manual dexterity required for handling tools and controls.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and frequently bend or twist.
- Exposure to contaminants and working in confined or awkward spaces.
- Tolerance for noise, minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings.
- Working with hazardous conditions and equipment.
Pay Details: 21.00 to 27.00 per hour
