Are you an Indirect Procurement or Strategic Sourcing professional with experience managing a broad variety of indirect categories? If so, this could be the perfect chance to utilize the breadth of your experience and join one of the most reputable sourcing functions in the country!
Upon joining this dynamic Global Sourcing and Procurement team, you’ll act as a vital business partner for various category groups. As a Global Indirects Sourcing Manager, you will develop and execute sourcing events and negotiation strategies to optimize key supply chain functions.
You will be recognized for driving strategic initiatives, achieving cost improvements, and building strong relationships across the wider business!
Global Indirects Sourcing Manager, Key Responsibilities:
- Category Management: Execute high-complexity regional and global sourcing events across all assigned categories, including Professional Services, Logistics, and Warehousing & Distribution
- Develop Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate on the development for these high-complexity regional and global sourcing strategies for a broad variety of categories
- Drive Business Value: Work closely with Business Partners to drive value while maintaining high-quality service standards. Build trust and ensure alignment and satisfaction with key Business Partners and senior leaders.
- Global Collaboration: Engage with Global Category Management Teams for assigned categories, establishing strong partnerships with global peers and colleagues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute opportunities for specification alignment, process improvement, and demand management. Support supplier relationship management programs.
Global Indirects Sourcing Manager, What You’ll Need:
- Strong knowledge of indirect sourcing and procurement particularly across international professional services or logistics categories (other category backgrounds will also be considered)
- Proficiency in procurement/sourcing systems and Microsoft Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze data related to spend, supplier performance, and market trends
- Preference for candidates from a Blue-Chip environment who have experience managing multinational Business Partners and suppliers
- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent experience
