As we continue to grow, we're looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in managing key partner relationships and overseeing client implementations.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SaaS Project Manager with a strong background in managing customer implementations of B2B software. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, with required in-office days and flexibility for remote work on other days. The ideal candidate will have 2-4+ years of experience in project management, with a desire to level up into the PMO / upper management tier of oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Partner Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships.
- Oversee Team of Analysts: Lead and mentor a small Boston-based team of analysts, ensuring that focus is given to priority tasks and ancillary tasks are outsourced.
- Client Implementations: Manage and measure the success of client implementations, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Risk Management: Identify critical risk factors and know when and how to resolve vs soft /hard escalate.
- Management Reporting: Communicate status clearly & succinctly with management and the team using reliable and meaningful metrics.
- Project Management: Utilize project planning tools such as Asana and Jira to manage time, resources, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
- Hands-On Contribution: While the role is primarily management-focused, everyone on our team chips in occasionally with hands-on tasks to ensure project success.
Required Experience:
- Undergraduate degree, ideally in a business, technology, or communications related field
- 2-4+ years of demonstrated experience overseeing customer implementations of B2B software.
- KPI-Driven experience of implementing, enforcing, measuring, and improving on team-based operational processes
- Firm understanding of how cloud-based applications interconnect to exchange data
- Commanding knowledge of project planning frameworks and tools such as Asana and Jira.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Intermediate/Expert-level excel skills
Additional Differentiating Experience:
- Master's degree, ideally in a business, technology, or communications related field
- Project management certification, e.g. PMP or CSM
- Prior experience management Software as a Service (SaaS) projects
- PMP or similar certification
- Experience in digital marketing or ecommerce
- Report-writing experience, ideally in Grafana and using time-series databases
