About the role
We are looking to add a Director of Operations to our growing Operations department.
The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day activities and functions of our Data Center to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Director of Operations is a key player in driving the success of the organization by ensuring effective and efficient operational processes. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across different functions within the company.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the operations of the organization and deployment of miners.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and implement process improvements.
- Monitor Objective Key Results (OKR’s) to assess operational performance.
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee and mentor staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Assess and mitigate operational risks.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential challenges.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., facilities maintenance, human resources, inventory) to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
- Manage the operational budget and ensure financial goals are met.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance for executive leadership.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement crisis management plans to address unforeseen challenges.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in an operations leadership role.
- Good understanding of IT/computer hardware, systems/electrical engineering, network administration, and/or troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Office proficient.
