What does an IT Manufacturing Leader do at Rinnai?
The IT Manufacturing Leader is responsible for managing and executing technology activities at the factory. This role will have the primary technical role in factory launches, including implementation and support of mission critical factory applications. The IT Manufacturing Leader will work directly with factory leadership to automate and optimize processes, as well as understand and promote awareness and adoption of applications and services.

What you will do:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and execute technology plans for manufacturing launch activities.
- Provide day to day production support for IT systems, manufacturing and IT launch activities and upgrades while executing the IT strategic direction.
- Perform implementation and support of mission critical factory applications, including MES, WMS and ERP. This includes a functional knowledge of all applications used by local factories, ability to troubleshoot system issues, manage and/or configure application and application access.
- Execute IT Operations Roadmap
- Lead new technology product introduction programs, LEAN Six Sigma continuous improvement programs (cost reduction, productivity improvements, etc.), and process improvement programs to drive measurable improvements in business results.
- Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives at the factory.
- Execute the enterprise application portion of the IT Security Roadmap
- Lead security-related enterprise applications projects from inception to successful completion
- Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of RAC’s technology and security operations and services.
- Stay abreast of latest enterprise technologies.
- Be proficient in all the end user technologies used by Rinnai Corporation
- Generate Reports as requested by management.
- Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technology implementation/support capacity for ERP, WMS and MES systems
- Experience with Robotics in a manufacturing environment
SKILLS
- Demonstrated, “hands on” abilities with manufacturing technical architecture from project inception through implementation and transition to support.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data migration strategies and tools
- LEAN Six Sigma
- Demonstrated experience with Andon, SCADA (all elements, including PLCs), and IoT
- Project Management

- Ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization, provide process expertise, have proven influencing and persuasion skills, and make challenging decisions across complex opportunities.
- Vendor management
- Superior written and verbal communication as well as the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
