Senior Project Manager
Location: Austin
Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with 8-10 years of industry experience to lead and oversee complex construction projects, primarily focusing on interior finish-outs and ground-up commercial projects (no residential). The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in project management, with strong capabilities in estimation, team leadership, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage the project scope, budget, and schedules for interior finish-outs and ground-up projects.
- Prepare accurate project estimates and participate in bid reviews, with the opportunity to receive bonuses based on self-estimated projects.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Review project documentation, contracts, and technical specifications to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior Project Managers, helping to build a robust mentorship program that fosters professional development among team members.
- Monitor project performance, implement improvements as needed, and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction (interior finish-out and ground-up projects preferred).
- Strong understanding of project estimating, budgeting, and scheduling, with experience in estimating your own work.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a passion for guiding and developing other team members.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
