This is a contract to hire position for an Instructional Designer in Louisville, KY.
Position will be hybrid - onsite 3 days a week in Louisville, KY

Overview
Learning and Development focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of training programs and materials, across the organization. The Instructional Designer will support the effective design of training programs, reporting training results, and updating existing training materials.
Responsibilities
- Apply instructional design and development principles to support the production of standardized, engaging and innovative learning programs
- Support the evaluation of learning program effectiveness
- Partner with others to ensure that all training meets our company Best-in-Class and regulatory standards
- Assist with any modifications to technical, clinical, and skilled training courses
- Stay current with industry/sector trends and best practices
- Collaborate with Learning and Development team and key members of the HR Team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Or equivalent education and relevant experience and skills
- Knowledge of best practices in developing/designing e-learning, instructor-led and blended training programs throughout the analysis, design, and development process
- Experience incorporating multiple media elements into learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and self-developed graphics preferred
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative software, Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, Articulate 360 including Storyline, and other design and video editing software (e.g. Vyond, Canva, etc.)
- Experience in program management, performance improvement, and leadership development preferred
- Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design and distance learning theories and methodologies, including the ADDIE model required
- Experience with a Learning Management System preferred
