C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team!
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a software engineer for the High-Performance Computing Group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

- Advanced computing software, hardware
- Embedded or systems development and fielding, sustainment and lifecycle support
- Strong and diverse working knowledge of software languages, hardware and industry best practices
- Advanced mathematics / physics; a track record of excellent team dynamics, development, and relevant technical contributions
What sets you apart: Technical and problem-solving skills in advanced computing systems, hardware, software, mathematics, physics, or end-mission applications and support, with an understanding of how those capabilities fit into the bigger product / service offering.

- Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.
- Energized by the diverse software and computer engineering problem sets of HPC.

- Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.
- Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
Education Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
